Kaiulani Spices Alaea Sea Salt Garlic & Herb Rub & Seasoning, Organic, 4 Oz.
The Hawaiian Alaea (red sea salt from the island of Kaua'i) is ideal for steak and prime rib. It contains garlic, rosemary, bay leaf, black peppercorn and thyme. Besides using it as an excellent rub on meats, try it on fish, poultry, vegetables and salads. Sprinkle 1 tbs per lb of meat. Rub spice into meat. Add and rub into meat olive oil. Bake, grill fry or broil. Excellent as a blackened fish item, by sprinkling the Hawaiian Alaea spice on fish, pat all over the fish, and marinade for half and hour. Then sear.
